“The Borderless World” is the flagship program of Sanlih E-Television that has been on the air since 2008 and covers international affairs in depth, including economics, environmental issues, different cultures and key global trends. For each assignment, the reporter travels overseas to shoot, film and produce. The 800 episodes of “The Borderless World” have taken to the audience to six continents and more than 100 countries, including wartime Iraq and Syria. In Syria, the show focused on the refugee crisis and in Africa it highlighted the problems wrought by famine. “The Borderless World” is a two-time Taiwan Golden Bell award winner, and has also won Taiwan's Excellent Journalism award and Vivian Wu Journalism Award. With all these superior achievements, Sanlih News Channel wins not only the highest rating, but also the title of the most trust-worthy news channel in Taiwan.
